The debut 7 Track EP from Galactus Jack will be released through TVCM
Music on April 27th 2009.

The project is the result of an 18 month writing and recording period during
which the one time member of house music DJ & Production group Aorta shaped his
debut solo release. The EP features guest vocals and contributions from pop starlet Shell
Perris, former thebandwithnoname MC Ad-Apt, and ‘next big thing’ vocalist Lindsey
amongst others.

“The last 18 months has been a real journey of trying to find a sound to call
my own that pleases my ever changing musical perspective. With a foundation of some
cheeky break beats we threw some guitars, some vocals and some editing scissors into
the melting pot, and from the lyrical and musical jumping concept of ‘Reality’ this is
what came out! There’s some dance, some pop elements, some rock… people kept
asking us to describe the sound so we decided to call it electro grunge magic!” –
Galactus Jack.

Reality Bytes was written and produced alongside engineer Chris Taylor
predominantly at Rooftop Studios in Liverpool, UK.

Galactus Jack (Ben Jack) the albums producer says of the project
“It all started back in February when I was in the Far East with the foundation,
checking out some of the projects. During a particularly bumpy flight between
Malaysia and Thailand, Maurice Dimmock and myself began chatting about
opportunities for raising the profile and generating funds for the foundation. We hit
upon the idea of putting together some kind of charity album and asking bands to
donate a track to the cause. 6 Months later here we are! Its just been an amazing
road to travel down, and its an absolute privilege to be able to support the fantastic
life changing work of the Rose Education Foundation with this album release”

As well as the exclusive track from Sandi Thom, the album also features an exclusive
track from album producer Galactus Jack.
